We are on FHIR with Our Provider Network Directory API

As part of the CMS Interoperability and Patient Access final rule (CMS-9115-F), payers must make provider information available to retrieve and share directly by July 2021. The requirement is to transmit a FHIR® API based list of providers that are in-network.

Transmit2.0 API from Perspecta meets these requirements. It retrieves information on providers and pharmacies within a specific payer network in a standardized format. The FHIR-based API easily automates the process. It can help you achieve better compliance in the provider data space, & reap the benefits of Perspecta’s existing data infrastructure

Transmit2.0 API meets the following mandates and industry standards:
  • Data Standard - FHIR® 4.0.1 (R4) API, specifically the Da Vinci Payer Data Exchange (PDEX) Plan Network IG  standard for structuring data
  • Required Provider Data - Provider names, network status, addresses, phone numbers, and specialties
  • Timing - Provider directory updates are available via API within 30 days of receipt of new data or changes to directory data
  • Security - API endpoint on public website
